Location

The small Ca’ Centopietre Inn is located in the Dorsoduro quarter, far from the chaotic tourist hustle and bustle, immediately behind La Toletta bookstore, just a stone throw from the Accademia and the Riva delle Zattere.

Ca’ Centopietre is enveloped in the tranquility of a picturesque campiello (square), in a corner where you can still find the atmosphere of old Venice, easy to reach from the Piazzale Roma automobile terminal, the cruise line passenger terminal and not far from the stop of the vaporetto (water bus) that crosses the Grand Canal in the direction of Saint Mark's.

Ca’ Centopietre's excellent location allows you to reach the rich art collections of the Peggy Guggenheim Museum and the Galleries of the Accademia, to pass through Campo Santo Stefano and see the Gran Teatro La Fenice, go shopping in Calle Larga XXII Marzo and enter Saint Mark's Square.

The square is Venice's living room, an extraordinary concentration of monuments and palazzi, like Saint Mark's Basilica, the Ducal Palace and the Clock Tower, all dominated by the very tall and famous bell tower and made even more pleasant and romantic by the music of the orchestras of the historic cafés.

From the square, a short stroll among the stores of the Mercerie will take you to the Rialto, which is waiting for you with its original architecture and its bridge, the vivacity of a centuries-old market and many bacari (wine bars) where you can drink a spritz – a typical Venetian aperitif – accompanied by cicheti a tasty local snack.

But, if you decide to stay in the neighborhood, you won't be disappointed! The lively Campo Santa Margherita offers inns and nightspots where you can pass the evening, while, on the Riva delle Zattere, you can see a splendid sunset and the fascinating island of Giudecca. Both are located just a few minutes from Ca’ Centopietre.

In Dorsoduro, Ca’ Centopietre is a quiet and elegant place, just a stone's throw from everything. You will be able to spend a vacation in absolute peace and quiet in the heart of Venice, allowing yourself to be gently bewitched by the enchanting fascination of corners forgotten by time and the availability and kindness of staff of Ca’ Centopietre.
